memories_schooldays_3 -- PUNISHMENTS

ZOR KAA JHATKA DHEERE SE LAGAA

Continuing my previous post

This time I will say you about the different weapons our teachers used to punish us J

As usual coming to the hero of our story

Our Telugu Sir in VIIIth class

The way in which he punished us, he used to have a plot which he executed very well.

He won’t take decision on the spot, you do a mistake you will be noted and punished in the near future.

Here is the plot and his excellent screen play [:D]

He enters the class, the subject will be asked to sit in the first bench (actually sitting in the first bench itself will be a big punishment for him ;))

He will be cleaning the board and suddenly the duster will fall down as an impact of sitting in the first bench you will automatically bend in front of him for picking up the duster.

That’s it you will get a good blow on your back … I say you wont forget it. It will be like HULK HOGAN* is Hitting 123 KID"

It’s a different issue that he will assist you in getting up by holding your ear and turning it.

But by that time you will realize that “JOR KAA JHATKAA DHEERE SE LAGAA”

He wasn’t consistent, he used to change the things the will fall down every time its not only duster it can be a pen, chalk or register all he needs is you to bend down.

This drama dint last long we cracked it with our observation, we used to laugh amongst us when ever a new guy is asked to come and first bench.

Our Mathematics Sir in 10th standard used to punish us psychologically – constructive punishments

I still remember the day when we had two Maths classes and the way one of my friends was punished

I still wonder whether it was a punishment or not.

He dint do his home work and he dint perform well, as a result he was made to sit in the Sir’s chair for the two hours and sir was standing through out.

I don’t know what the teacher’s tactics was; it worked and the guy never underperformed from then and was able to score average in Maths.

Coming to the weapons …

Hindi Teacher – 3 inch stick which would fit in her purse/hand bag with which she used to rap on our head J

English Teacher in 9th – evergreen punishment (Imposition)

PE T sir – as usual they show their heroism, they beat black and blue J

Class teacher in 10th standard – Traditional punishments like kneeling down, standing on bench, standing out of class, or not giving attendance J

Though it was traditional it used to be very embarrassing to stand on a bench or kneeling down out of class coming to 10th standard.

Physics sir – Long Rulers that we get in the labs

7th class Maths teacher – Worst one she used to sit in a chair and hit us hard using Broom Stick with which they clean cob webs, the only way to escape that punishment is to run out of the class. WARNING staying inside the class you will get a blow from a wooden duster thrown at you.

To be continued…. J
